Aluminum Corrosion

diluted lye household drain cleaner corrodes aluminum flashing

revealing a grain buried in the material during the production process


the panel's textured surface and pitted transparency appear in turn,
as light shifts through the course of the day

throw some bark on the barbie


wood in raw form = opportunity for free material + hikes in the woods = mega bonus
thick and decaying bark = already cool = dilemma for discovering latent properties








sanding the bark revealed a variety of colors, grain patterns, and layers that lay beneath the surface
